Trusted knowledge for employee questions

The Assistant leverages trusted knowledge—public documentation from third-party tools and services—to deliver accurate, up-to-date answers about the applications and systems in your tech stack. By integrating these external resources, it can instantly answer common questions about tools your teams use without requiring admins to upload or maintain that information manually.

With trusted knowledge:

• Admins save time and reduce the risk of human error by automating knowledge management.

• The Assistant is IT-ready from day one, equipped to answer tech support questions with rich, relevant context.

Managing trusted knowledge sources

Admins can configure the public knowledge sources used to answer employee questions.

• Navigate to Settings > Assistantunder Organization.

• Click on Customizein the Trusted knowledgecard.

• Enable or disable specific knowledge sources as needed. Changes take effect immediately and control what the Assistant can reference when responding to employee questions.

• If Atomicwork is integrated with Okta or Azure AD, any apps provisioned through these platforms will automatically be enabled as trusted sources. You can disable them at any time.
